I Dream A Dream
Marin Summer Theater is a theater company with a dream. Our dream is to encourage young theater artists (regardless of financial situation) by immersing them in a creative, supportive and demanding environment. Critical to this mission: MST invites theater professionals to work with our student company at every opportunity.Join MST in supporting student artists by contributing to our "I Dream A Dream" campaign. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by August 4 so that we can "give back" to our guest artists and professionals who work with MST for a fraction of their normal rate and honor their commitment to our children and our community.
For the last 4 years, MST has benefited from the generosity of working professionals like Jim Poulos, Drew Gasparini, Kate Kenyon, Kayla Gold, Samantha Maaslebrown, Brendan Kieran, Jonathon Picket and others who turn down other opportunities to be part of MST. MST operates on a very small budget, and the stipends these artists receive rarely covers their expenses and lost income.If you value the dreams of youth, please give to MST. We will be introducing you to some of our 2013 company members who will share their dreams with you. They've worked hard to get where they are today and know that there are 1,000's of hours of blood, sweat and tears to come. They want to learn from the best and we need your help to make that happen.
For everyone that contributes at least $50.00 to MST, we will acknowledge your gift in our playbill and on a special "Dream" lobby display that will be at every regular MST performance. You will also be eligible all standard donor benefits at your donation level.
The artists of the future will come from programs like MST. Please help make our dream, and their dreams come true.
